Emma’s work is an intuitive exploration of memory and lived sensations, inspired by nature, dreams and how the symbolism of emotions can create personal meaning and a sense of belonging in the world.
 
Creatively interacting across the boundaries of imagination and observation, figurative forms that inhabit the spaces are sometimes abstract incomplete and raw, half invented, half remembered, from which glimpses of clarity reveal.
 
Her current practice is focused on examining different levels of intimacy through printmaking and drawing, layering recollections and observations to capture an emotional connection in her work.
